locking yakima rack for 2005 toyota camry to carry grid blocks

I'm interested in a Yakima car rack system for my 2005 Toyota Camry but not sure if it will serve my purpose? I don't need to carry any sports gear or anything just some block grids that are 4 feet wide. The load wouldn't be too heavy, somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 -150 lbs. THe real trick would be to somehow lock these grid blocks to the rack as well. They are expensive and I wouldn't want to get them ripped off! Anyone suggest a suitable Yakima rack system for this application?

Go with the Yakima Q Towers roof rack system first of all. No matter what items you plan to carry on your roof, you will need a multi-purpose roof rack base system. The Yakima Q Tower system includes four Q Towers, two pairs of Q39 clips (these Q Clips are specific to your 2005 Toyota Camry) and two cross bars. You will attach the general purpose load carrier, that can handle your grid blocks, to the Q Tower front and rear cross bars. The 58 inch cross bars are the recommended length for the 2005 Toyota Camry roof top and will provide enough crossbar space for your 4' wide grid blocks.

You'll then want to attach the Yakima Load Stops for carrying your grid blocks. Attaches directly to the front and rear cross bars. Use in combination with the Yakima Heavy Duty Straps. This is an excellent carrier for your 4" grids.

Finally, I then highly recommend the SteelCore locking straps. These are excellent locking security straps to lock your items to the rack system. Simply wrap around the grid blocks and roof rack and cinch up to tighten then lock with the key. No worries!
