what's the kayak rack solution for my 2003 GMC Sierra truck cap topper

I just put a truck cap topper on my 2003 GMC Sierra. Now i'm wondering how the heck I'm gonna put a kayak rack on the thing. I'm pretty sure I want to go with that Thule Rack side loading kayak rack that lowers down to load the kayak then raises up into place on the roof. Not sure how I can connect this to my 2003 GMC Sierra truck topper though.

I have this exact set up on my 2006 GMC Sierra truck cap. You have to mount a pair of permanent tracks onto the cap rootop. Go with the Thule 60 inch tracks. Their instructions and installation process is simple and lightning quick. The end product is a really nice and professional finished look. Now that you have the 60 inch tracks in place, you'll then want the Thule 430 Tracker II roof rack system. This includes four 430 Tracker II feet and four TK1 Kits. The TK1 kits snap right into the tracks, you can slide them up and down to the exact position you want too. The four 430 Tracker II feet then snap onto the TK1 kits. This multi-purpose roof rack system also includes a pair of load bars (get the 58inch length to span across your cap). Now you can attach the Thule 897XT Hullavator kayak rack to the 430 Tracker II load bars. This is an awesome kayak rack set up that makes it totally effortless to load and unload a kayak. I attached a second 897XT Hullavator to the load bars on the passenger side too for a second kayak.

Thanks for all your help 2tontruck, and the extra idea from nickr. I checked out all my options and I'm definitely going to go with the Thule tracks / 430 Tracker II roof rack system. I read the online installation notes on the tracks and looks like a piece of cake. I also love how the base rack can slide back and forth to any position. This will be handy for when I want to handle long loads like my ladder or some lumber. Can't wait for it all to arrive, and I'll try and remember to let everyone know how the installation goes and if the Hullavator makes loading my kayak a cinch.
