found out tracrac truck racks has a $50 rebate offer going on now

Just found out that the TracRac truck rack company, the guys that make the sliding track rack system is offering a $50 mail in rebate with any purchase of a complete TracRac truck rack system. I'm not sure how long the offer is valid for though.

I just talked to a sales rep named Steve at ORS Racks Direct where I placed a TracRac order because they are offering the $50 rebate and the guy knew his TracRac stuff and was able to fit my Dodge Ram no problem (I had problems with a local dealer because they couldn't figure the correct fit for my truck). Anyway he said the Trac Rac truck rack $50 rebate offer is good until November 16, 2007. They have more info posted on their TracRac truck rack rebate offer page.

What is your opinion on the TracRac brand? Have you used this compnay before? I'm thinking of purchasing a system for my truck...just want some input first. Any advise and information would be helpful. Thanks!

I've had a couple different truck rack brands but finally settled on TracRac a couple of years ago. Man I love this rack! It's everything they claim it to be. The sliding track rack system seals the deal for me. I can slide both sets of towers and bars all the way up front next to the cab when i dont need the rack for a very clean look. Then I can slide the rack to whatever position I need for carrying both long loads like ladders and lumber (definitely get the tracrack canti-lever extension that extends over the pickup cab for long loads like piping, conduit and extra long lumber & ladders).
