Thule 376 commercial truck rack compatibility with thule gear carriers

I recently bought the Thule 376 truck rack for my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 (which is an excellent commercial truck rack and serves my day job purposes well). I decided I'd like to carry my kayak on the rack sometimes too. The bars on the 376 are different from normal Thule bars and wondering what, if any, kayak carriers are compatible with the Thule 376 truck rack bars???

hey artfuldodger, love that name!!!, that is a good question that seems like many people have. Not much possted out there that gives a clear explanation on this. ORS_techhead did gather a pretty complete breakdown of Thule gear carrier compatibility with the Thule 376 commercial truck rack and all other van rack and truck racks in the Thule PRO series commercial truck racks. Basically, many of the Thule gear carriers need the Thule Xadapt adapter kits to connect to the bars.
