no factory roof rack on 2000 Volvo v70 & need to carry surfboards

I realize most Volvo v70 wagon models have a factory roof rack installed, at least the side rails anyway...but my parents gave me the car and it doesnt have a rack on at all. I want to carry a couple of surfboards, am I SOL or is there a car rack and surfboard rack that'll work with the 2000 Volvo v70 wagon without factory rack...???
