Thule Racks is officially discontinuing the Thule Fat Mouth FM1 adapter for older style Thule ski-snowboard racks. All current model Thule ski racks come with universal mounting hardware included so the FM1 Fat Mouth Clamps are no longer needed.
However, Thule Racks is aware that there are still many Thule ski rack owners out there using the older models that still need some type of adapter hardware for mounting to factory rack crossbars. So Thule Racks has developed a Thule spare parts bag that includes the new mounting feet and components found on the current Thule universal mounting ski carriers, as well as the bolts and tightening knobs for attaching the ski rack to the factory rack bars. Instructions are also included.
