My mongoose bike on 2005 Honda Pilot basket rack - help!

So how exactly do I carry my Mongoose bike on a basket rack at the same time on my 2005 Honda Pilot. The Honda Pilot roof rack currently only includes roof top side rails, no cross bars. help!

In order to get the basket rack on the roof you first need to install a 2005 Honda Pilot roof rack multi-purpose base rack system. The rack you'll need for this is the Yakima Lowrider roof rack system. It attaches to the Honda Pilot roof rack side rails using the four Lowrider towers. A pair of cross bars is also included that attach to the Lowrider towers. Please note you'll need the 58 inch crossbar length to span across the Honda Pilot cartop.

Now you can connect the Yakima MegaWarrior basket rack directly to the Lowrider cross bars. This is a sweet basket rack because the Mega Warrior has two integrated crossbars built right into the basket that are included specifically for attaching gear carriers to them. You can then attach any of Yakima Racks bike racks to these two integrated cross bars. For your Mongoose I'd go with the Yakima HighRoller or King Cobra bike racks.
