Want to carry a porta-bote on my 2006 toyota sienna roof rack crossbars

I'm leaning toward a full set of Yakima Mako saddles (two pair), and a set of 4 Yakima universal mighty mounts, which I assume can be attached to the factory cross bars on a 2006 toyota sienna minivan, and then the mako saddles can be attached to them? I want to mount a 12'6" portable folding boat, called a "porta-boat" (see www.porta-bote.com). The boat is 12'6" long x 24" wide x 4" thick, and weighs 69 pounds. Does anyone have a better suggestion on how to mount this boat on my vehicle?

bigbert, you could try a set of the Yakima/Rhode Gear Saddles (Yakima Racks owns Rhode Gear). This is a good all-purpose boat carrier and a good solution for your porta-bote and saves you money. These saddles attach directly to your 2006 Toyota Sienna minivan roof rack crossbars.
