using a canoe carrier on 2008 Jeep Patriot roof rack factory bars

I'm driving the 2008 Jeep Patriot and want to carry a canoe on the roof top. I'm concerned that the knobs that allow the Jeep Patriot factory rack crossbars to be adjusted may interfere with canoe rack. Not concerned with brand, but it must work with the 2008 Jeep Patriot factory crossbars. Any suggestions out there?

You wont have any problems using the Malone BigFoot canoe rack for the factory rack on your Patriot. The adjustment knobs on your factory rack crossbars will not interfere with this system either.
