Roof Rack for 2002 Mazda protege 5 for Kayak Kayak Racks & Canoe Racks

Hi I recently bought a kayak and need a rack for my mazda protege5, I couldn't find a rack using the Thule configurator, what are my other options?

I don't know what year your Mazda Protege 5 is but I have a 2003 Mazda Protege5 wagon that didn't have a factory rack or anything. I installed the Yakima Q Towers roof rack system using two pairs of the Yakima Q102 clips. This roof rack is great and never had any issues. I also use it to carry 2 kayaks. I have 2 Yakima Hullraiser kayak racks attached to the Yakima Q Tower car rack system cross bars (I'm using the recommended 48 inch Yakima crossbars).

uh stupid me, I just went back and actually read your title and it says you need a 2002 mazda 5 roof rack. You can use the Yakima Q Tower car rack system on that model year also. Uses the same Yakima Q102 clips too.
