I am trying to put a Thule Hullavator on my 2007 Lincoln MKX. Will it mount to my factory rack or do I need some additional items?

The Thule 897XT Hullavator kayak rack won't mount to factory roofracks including your 2007 Lincoln MKX. For these situations you would normally need to replace your existing factory rack with a Thule multi-purpose base rack system that is both rated for the weight load and has the compatible crossbars to attach the Thule 897XT kayak rack to it. Unfortunately, Thule racks has not come out with a roof rack system that will work on the 07 Lincoln MKX. So you currently are out of luck with using the Hullavater on this car.
