Default 2004 Sebring Coupe kayak rack

Lucky girl that I am, I received a kayak as a gift and now I'm having trouble figuring out how to transport it. Anybody out there know of a rack for 04 Sebring Coupe? I've been told there is no rack system. What about trailering? Whatever the system, it will have to be easy to load by myself. I would love to be able to use it more often. Right now I borrow a friends truck, but that is soon to end. Any help out there? Thanks in advance.

Default kayak trailer for your 2004 Chrysler Sebring coupe is a great option

Yeah you are out of luck with a kayak roof rack system for the 2004 Chrysler Sebring coupe. You mention a trailer though. That's actually a pretty good option to look into. You can get a trailer hitch mounted to your car easily from any local vehcicle accessory store and such. The kayak trailer is light so you can go with a 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch size and then just get the hitch ball that inserts into the trailer hitch to fit the standard 1 7/8 inch hitch ball tongue on the kayak trailer.

This is a good page that offers Malone kayak trailers etc.

I'd recommend going with either the Malone SeaWing kayak racks or Malone AutoLoader kayak racks that mount right onto the crossbars on the kayak trailer. You can't beat a kayak trailer for super easy loading of your kayak and it's easy to pull a kayak trailer too.
