Yeah you are out of luck with a kayak roof rack system for the 2004 Chrysler Sebring coupe. You mention a trailer though. That's actually a pretty good option to look into. You can get a trailer hitch mounted to your car easily from any local vehcicle accessory store and such. The kayak trailer is light so you can go with a 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch size and then just get the hitch ball that inserts into the trailer hitch to fit the standard 1 7/8 inch hitch ball tongue on the kayak trailer.

I'd recommend going with either the
Malone SeaWing kayak racks or
Malone AutoLoader kayak racks that mount right onto the crossbars on the kayak trailer. You can't beat a kayak trailer for super easy loading of your kayak and it's easy to pull a kayak trailer too.
