need a trunk rack for luggage on 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse

Hi,
i will soon own a 08 Eclipse Spyder, and i would like to find a trunk rack for it so i can carry extra luggage and maybe even skis.
I found different models for BMW's, Mazda's... but nothing for the Eclipse...

Any suggestion?

Unfortunately there are no trunk racks compatible with your car. Also trunk racks typically only allow for the transport of bikes.

Probably the best option for carrying luggage is to install a 1-1/4" trailer hitch on the rear of the car to allow you to then attach the Thule 664 Transporter hitch mount cargo box. A hitch cargo box will allow you to transport all kinds of stuff including luggage gear etc. You won't be able to carry skis though, the hitch cargo box is not long enough to accommodate that.

For skis you will need to mount the Thule 400XT Aero car rack system to the rooftop. You will also need to use the Thule 477 Short Roof adapter kit in order to get the proper distance between the front and rear crossbar for a solid platform. You can then mount any Thule ski racks to the Thule 400XT Aero load bars.

pretty sure that model convertible just doesn't have the configuration to safley hold a trunk mount bike rack from any bike rack companies (Thule Racks, Yakima Racks, Saris Bike Racks, Allen Bike Racks, Holly Bike Racks etc).
