thule spirit cargo box works on 94 Honda Accord wagon factory rack bars

Well I wanted to add a post to this car rack forum regarding using Thule roof boxes on a 1994 Honda Accord wagon factory rack. I was told by multiple sources (and even the online Thule fit guide selector says no cargo boxes will fit on the 94 Honda Accord factory rack) the Thule 689 Spirit roof box would not work on the 1994 Honda Accord wagon factory rack, and that I would need to get a new Thule roof rack system that I could then mount the cargo box to. I had tested a box on the factory rack before and it worked fine so I was pretty sure the Thule Spirit box would fit. I went ahead and purchased the cargo box and just as i expected the box mounted to the factory rack crossbars. Below is a picture taken of the roof box on the 94 Honda Accord wagon after returning from a two week trip to the islands off the coast of Maine. No problems whatsoever...
