Default need a cargo pod and kayak racks on 2005 Toyota 4Runner roof rack

We have two kayaks that we need to transport on a 2005 Toyota 4 Runner roof rack, but would like to have room for one of those hard cover narrow / thin cargo pod carriers in the middle of the rack. Any suggestions on what to go with?

Default yakima lowrider roof rack with hullraiser kayak racks & skybox 12 will work

here's my mmmm good recipe kayak_fishers:

You gotta first install the Yakima Lowrider roof rack system to your 2005 Toyota roof rack side rails. This base rack will provide a stong enough and compatible foundation to carry the cargo box (hard shell roof pod) and two kayak racks. Be sure to get the 58 inch cross bars with the Lowrider system so you have enough room for all the gear.

Once the Lowrider base rack system is installed you'll then want to attach a Yakima HullRaiser kayak rack on the Lowrider cross bars on the driver side and another Hull Raiser kayak rack on the passenger side. These babes are divine for hauling kayaks and also using up less cross bar space so you have enough room in the middle of the two HullRaiser kayak carriers to attach a cargo box / pod. I'd go with the Yakima SkyBox 12. It is narrow in design to fit nicely between the two kayak racks on the LowRider crossbars. But also long enough to carry plenty of gear including skis and snowboards in the winter. The SkyBox 12 is black but if you'd rather go with silver then get the Yakima SkyBox Pro 12, same as regular SkyBox 12 except that it's got a nice metallic silver finish.
