Thule Racks has begun shipping to dealers the following cartop roof bag models:
Thule 867 Tahoe roof bag
Thule 857 Caravan roof bag
The Thule 867 Tahoe bag replaces the discontinued Thule 866 Escape II roof bag, and is the first roof bag that offers dual capacity options with a 15 cu. ft. capacity and an expandable 17 cu. ft. capacity which offers a similar cargo volume as hard shell roof boxes. The Thule 867 Tahoe also offers the most durable construction of any roof bag with full waterproof protection. The Thule 857 Caravan bag replaces the discontinued Thule 856 Nomad bag and is the first roof bag available to the public that is made with environmentally PVC free materials. This bag offers a 13 cu. ft. cargo volume and is very durably built for years of use in just about any foul weather conditions encountered during car travel. For the ultimate in water-resistant protection however it is recommended to move up to the Thule 867 Tahoe roof bag model.
