Honda CRV 2007 w/ trunk mount

I just recently discovered that if you are installing the Yakima KingJoe 2 trunk rack to a 2007 Honda CR-V you will need to also get an extra set of the Yakima Glass Hatch Hooks. You use one set of the Glass Hatch Hooks for the top straps on the trunk rack and then the second set of Glass Hatch Hooks for the bottom hooks since the bottom edge of the hatch is plastic and the normal clips that come with the KingJoe won't work. The Yakima KingJoe does come with one set of Glass hatch hooks already. You just need to get a second set is all.

Thanks for the update. Do you know whether or not you'll need to use a second set of the Glasshatch hooks on yakima's other trunk bike racks - the yakima King Joe 3, Super Joe 2 & 3 and the Little Joe 3 when it is used on the 07 Honda CRV.

You will need an extra set of Glass Hatch Hooks for all Yakima trunk mount racks.
