slecting correct yakima rack items for 2008 Jeep Patriot roof rack for 2 canoes

Can someone help me out with selecting the right components I need to set up a 2008 Jeep Patriot canoe rack for carrying 2 canoes. I like Yakima Rack products. Do I need extra long cross bars for 2 canoes? Also what do i need to attach to the 2008 Jeep Patriot factory rack side rails as there are no factory crossbars installed currently? Thanks ahead for any help / advice anyone may be able to offer!

The Yakima Lowrider roof rack system is the multi-purpose base rack you'll need for your 2008 Jeep Patriot. The Yakima Lowider system includes four Lowrider Towers and two cross bars. The Lowrider Towers connect directly to your Jeep Patriot side rails. You can then connect the canoe carriers to the Lowrider front and rear cross bars. Because you want to carry 2 canoes you will need to choose the 78 inch length crossbars to provide enough space for the 2 canoes side by side. You will connect the canoe carriers to these crossbars. You can then connect 2 sets of the Yakima Gunwale Brackets canoe rack directly to the Yakima Lowrider rack front and rear cross bars.
