Default confused on info about 2007 GMC Yukon roof rack

What Yakima roof rack components do I need for a 2007 GMC Yukon that already has a factory rack on it. I'm confused with much of the information out there on the internet about setting up a roof rack for the 2007 GMC Yukon. thanks.

Default choose between yakima lowrider & ez rider for a 2007 gmc yukon roof rack system

Some of the confusion may be due to the various GMC Yukon models offered by GMC. There's the Yukon, Yukon XL, Yukon Denali and Yukon Denali XL.

Basically you will be selecting a multi-purpose base rack system for any of these models and connects to the factory rack side rails (the bars that run parallel to each other form the front to back of the roof).

For the 2007 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL models you will want to choose the Yakima Lowrider roof rack system with the 58" crossbars. For the 2007 GMC Yukon Denali and Yukon Denali XL models you will want to choose the Yakima Locking EZ Rider roof rack system with the 58" crossbars.

With either of these base rack systems installed on your side rails you can then attach any of Yakima Racks roof mount gear carriers directly to the base rack system front and rear crossbars.

Hope this helps to clear things up!
