Default toolbox in truckbed of 1999 Ford Ranger & need to carry two kayaks

I want to carry a 14' 6" kayak, maybe carry another also, on my 1999 Ford Ranger pickup truck. Thinking I would need a combination truck cab rack and some kind of truckbed truck rack that won't conflict with my toolbox that is in the front of the truck bed and attaches to the rails.

Default go with the yakima Outdoorsman 300 truck rack half set & q tower half pack

I'm thinking you would probably have a problem trying to install a full truckbed rack system in your Ford Ranger truckbed without having to first remove the toolbox. You wouldn't have enough spread between the two truck rack crossbars to carry long loads like kayaks. So could go with something like the Yakima Outdoorsman 300 truck rack half set in the truckbed. Then mount the Yakima Q Tower Half Pack roof rack to the Ford Ranger cab rooftop. The Outdoorsman truck rack half set makes it so you only have one crossbar in the truck bed and wont impact the toolbox. The Q Tower Half Pack includes a single crossbar up front on the truck cab. You now have a nice safe amount of distance between the two crossbars to mount any of yakima kayak racks to the crossbars and carry your kayaks.
