Thule 2191 FitKit for 2007 Ford Edge & 2192 FitKit for 2008 Ford Focus released

Hello all, Thule Racks has just released several new Thule FitKit Clips for use with the Thule 400XT Aero Foot Pack and the Thule 400XTR Rapid Aero Foot Pack to fit new model cars and trucks. Hoping to spread the word. For Ford the Thule 2191 FitKit is now available for the 2007 Ford Edge, and the Thule 2192 FitKit is now available for the 2008 Ford Focus 4 door.

Thanks for adding that Thule FitKit update. It looks like the Thule 2191 Fit Kit Clips and Thule 2192 FitKit Clips are not showing up in the Thule Racks online fit guide yet, so this is really the only way to get the word out that folks can now install a 2007 Ford Edge roof rack using a set of the Thule 2191 Fit Kit Clips along with either the Thule 400XT Aero Foot Pack & pair of square Thule crossbars or the Thule 400XTR Rapid Aero Foot Pack & pair of elliptical Rapid Aero crossbars. You can also install a 4 door 2008 Ford Focus roof rack using a set of the Thule 2192 Fit Kit Clips along with either the Thule 400XT Aero Foot Pack & pair of square Thule crossbars or the Thule 400XTR Rapid Aero Foot Pack & pair of elliptical Rapid Aero crossbars. ORS Racks Direct does have these FitKits available.

FYI, there are some inconsistencies with the Thule racks online fit guide. So just because the fit guide results for a particular vehicle may show no compatible fit, it's best to follow up directly with a dealer to verify with the Thule racks dealer fit guide manual. This is a much more comprehensive manual that will sometimes show a compatible fit that isn't showing up in the Thule fit guide, whether because the online fit guide hasn't been updated yet or there is a glitch in the database.
