Default does any car rack company work with 2005 ford freestyle roof rack siderails for kayak

I've heard that I can't use a yakima rack to carry a couple of 9 foot kayaks on my 2005 Ford Freestyle roof rack side rails because the design of the side rails makes them incompatible. Well this sucks is there any other company that'll work with the siderails???

Default yakima lowrider max car rack system attaches to the 2005 ford freestyle siderails

Wait I don't know who told you that queenb52 but I can assure you Yakima racks makes a rack system that is compatible with your 2005 Ford Freestyle roof rack siderails. It's called the Yakima Lowrider Max car rack system. Once this is mounted to your siderails you can then attach any Yakima kayak carriers to this multi-purpose base rack's front and rear cross bars. The LowRider MAX system includes four Lowrider MAX towers, four C1 Claws (made specifically for your vehicle) and two cross bars. The Lowrider MAX towers and C1 clamps attach directly to your rooftop siderails. Please note that the 58" crossbars are the required length for your 2005 Ford Freestyle and will also provide enough room for two kayak carriers next to each other.
