Default 2005 ford f250 canoe rack

Thinking about carrying a canoe on the cab roof of my 2005 Ford F250 crew cab. Is this possible and if so what are some of the canoe rack sysstems others are using for the Ford F250 crew cab?

Default yakima q towers / q58 clips / gunwale brackets needed for 2005 ford f250 canoe rack

The Yakima Q Towers roof rack system is engineered to fit your 2005 Ford F-250 perfectly and is very quick to install (easy-to-follow instructions included). No matter what gear you plan to carry on your cab roof, you will need a multi-purpose roof rack base system. The Yakima Q Tower system includes four Q Towers, two pairs of Q58 clips (these Q Clips are specific to your 2005 Ford F-250) and two cross bars. You will attach the canoe carrier to the Q Tower front and rear cross bars. The 58 inch cross bars are the recommended length for your cab roof top.

You can then attach the Yakima Gunwale Brackets Canoe Carrier directly to Q Tower base rack front and rear cross bars. Four Gunwale brackets included and two heavy-duty padded straps included also. This is an excellent canoe rack that will prevenet your canoe from shifting sideways. For total transport safety and to also prevent any rocking forward or backward of the canoe you should also use a pair of Yakima bow/stern tie down straps to secure your canoe to the front and rear of the pickup truck.
