attaching a kayak rack to the 2007 chevy trailblazer roof rack crossbars

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer roof rack, the factory rack version, and I want to carry a 12 foot Old Towne kayak. THe problem is the crossbars on the factory rack are rounded and on a slant and i'm not sure it's possible to mount a kayak rack directly to the cross bars or not. If anyone knows if this is possible, or if I need some kind of alternative roof rack system I'd really appreciate the advice!

You will need to replace your current incompatible factory rack on the 07 Chevy Trailblazer because the crossbars are not rated to handle the weight of your 12 ft. Old Towne kayak.
