will the Thule 400XTR Rapid Aero car rack work as a 2005 Mercedes c240 roof rack

I can't tell if the Thule 400XTR Rapid Aero car rack will work as a 2005 Mercedes c240 roof rack. Can anyone help out with this. I really like the modern european style lines of this rack instead of the more classic Thule 400XT aero with the square cross bars.

Well I hate to break it to you 2005benz but Thule Racks doesn't have any car rack that is compatible with your 2005 Mercedes Benz C240 sedan. I can tell you that we at Yakima Racks have worked overtime to engineer the necessary Q Clips (Q99 clips to be exact) so that the Yakima Q Towers roof rack system will be compatible with the 2005 Mercedes 240 car roof top. The four Q99 clips are part of the complete Q Towers base rack system, which also includes a set of four upright Q Towers that connect to the Q 99 clips. A pair of round bars (choose the 48 inch length for your roof) is also included. They attach to the four upright Q Towers to form the super strong multi-purpose base rack cross bars that you can then attach any Yakima Rack gear carriers too (i.e. surfboard, canoe, kayak, luggage, bike, ski or snowboard carriers). The Q Towers also has a more modern design to it because the bars are round instead of square.
