for thule bike racks the 400xtr rapid aero is a good mercury villager roof rack

I know I shouldn't be on the internet on Easter but I just gotta get a car rack system for my 1998 Mercury Villager. It currently has no type of roof rack installed. A friend of mine gave me a couple of Thule bike racks that I want to use so I guess a Thule car rack would be a good place to start?

Oh my gawd is it Easter I totally forgot because I'm always online?!?!?! Just kidding, I think I can help you out though easterbunny07. You should look at the thule 400XTR Rapid Aero car rack system. This is a very modern and stylish looking roof rack that will work great on your 1998 Mercury Villager. It includes four 400XTR Rapid Aero feet, four Fit Kit Clips (choose the 203 FitKits for your Villager) and a pair of Rapid Aero load bars - you'll need the 53 inch length bars. This car rack system connects to your rooftop where the roofline and top of the door jambs meet. One thing you will need to look into is whether your Thule bike racks that you have will need a set of xAdapts for each bike rack allowing the bike racks to connect to the Rapid Aero load bars. These load bars have a t-slot on the top of the bar that allow you to slide the Xadapt adapters onto the bars. You then connect each bike rack to the Xadapts. There are several different Xadapt versions made to work with the different Thule bike rack models made. Without knowing which Thule bike racks you have, I can't tell you what xAdapt type you'll need. I'd suggest checking the Thule Racks website or a dealer site and finding the bike racks that you have.
