attaching a roof rack to 2002 BMW 525 mounting points

I have a 2002 BMW 525 sedan with no roof rack of any kind on it currently. But a friend of mine said I have factory settings / mounting point on the roof top that I can use to install a car rack rather than using one of the car racks that use the clips to attach to the door wells. Does anyone know if it's true about these BMW 525 roof top mounting points for a car rack and if so what is the recommended car rack. I'd really prefer this style of rack becasue it would be more clean with an integrated look. thanks.
