carrying snowboards and skis at same time on 2004 Acura TL ski rack

Can you transport both snowboards and skis together in a ski rack? Specifically I'm in need of some kind of 04 Acura TL snowboard / ski rack system that'll allow me to have several pairs of skis and a couple of snowboards in the carrier at the same time. Interested in any professional car rack advice what other acura TL owners are using. thanks a lot.

hey there janemedic, so step one is to go with the Thule 400XT Aero base car rack system. No matter what type of sports equipment etc you plan to transport on your acura tl rooftop, you'll have to first install a multi-purpose roof rack base system. The Thule 400XT Aero roof rack system includes four 400XT Aero feet, four FitKit 2138 FitKit Clips (specific to your 2004 Acura TL roof top) and 2 square load bars (the 50" square load bars are the recommended length for your 2004 Acura TL roof top as well). You'll then mount the snowboard/ski rackto the 400XT Aero front and rear crossbars. For your specific needs you will want to get either the Thule 91725 ski rack or the Thule 91726 ski rack. The difference between these two ski-snowboard carriers is that the 91726 will slide out off the end of the base rack crossbars so you can very easily load and unload the skis and snowboards without having to reach up and over the vehicle to lay the skis/snowboards onto the ski rack. The 91726 and 91725 will also let you easily transport up to 4 snowboards or 6 pairs of skis. And of course you can mix and match carrying skis and snowboards at the same time. The 91726 and 91725 come with a pair of Thule locks included to lock your skis and snowboards inside the ski rack. I'd recommend also getting another 4 pack of Thule locks so you can secure the 400XT Aero roof rack to your Acura TL cartop.
