attaching thule 604 ascent roof box to 2008 acura mdx

I am currently driving a 2008 Acura MDX with a factory rack and am looking into purchasing the Thule 604 Ascent 1600 Roof Box but need to know if I need any additional hardware for mounting to the factory rack crossbars? Also, if I order this roof box online does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive it, I was told they are too large to go by UPS and have to be delivered on a tractor trailer?

The Thule 604 Ascent 1600 cargo box connects directly to your factory rack cross bars without the need for any extra hardware. Cargo boxes are too large to ship via regular shipping services such as UPS and FedEx. Instead they must be shipped via freight carrier and normally take up to a 2 week period for delivery. One thing to remember about freight carrier services is to inspect the package before signing to accept the delivery. If you accept the box without inspecting it first and then discover a problem you cannot return it like you can with UPS or FedEx. You are allowed to open up the box and fully inspect it before signing to accept the delivery so take advantage of that.
