Could be an issue with side rail clearance from roof top?
Hmmm, yeah I haven't seen that model up close and personal yet and I haven't heard any news coming down the pipeline from Yakima or Thule about fitting this vehicle. The car rack fit configurators are usually right, but the current year is sometimes a bit messy because they may not have updated the databases with any new fit information for newest model cars, including the 2007 Suzuki XL-7 roof rack side rails. Looking at the picture you included, I'm guessing there might be an issue with not enough space below the side rails, in between the rooftop and side rails for the regular Thule and Yakima roof rack systems that go on side rails. And they might be working on a fit right now. Hopefully we can update this thread with new info on the 2007 Suzuki XL7 roof rack side rail fit as it develops.
