Default trac rac sliding truck rack compatible with a couple of thule kayak racks

TracRac has actually discontinued their kayak carrier which is pretty good but very expensive. I'm told they are in the process of redesigning it and will be rereleasing it in the future. No complaints with how it works, just hope it'll be cheaper.

Personally i think the TracRac sliding track truck rack system is the best option out there for a pickup truckbed setup. Many people do like to use it for sports gear on the weekends, not just for heavy duty commercial contractor work on the weekdays.

I've heard the Thule 883 Glide & Set kayak rack mounts directly to the TracRac load bars. This is the ideal kayak rack for carrying a kayak lying flat hull side down. And word on the street is that the new Thule 835XTR Hull-a-Port kayak rack will also mount directly to the Trac Rac truck rack bars. I like this kayak rack the best because the semi-vertical j-cradle style allows for easy loading and takes up less crossbar space so you could add another 835XTR to carry another kayak.
