Default thule 770 2008 honda cr-v roof rack system is required

Unfortunately Honda changed the design of the rooftop and rack system on the 2008 CR-V model. You can lo longer use the Yakima Control Towers system or any Yakima roof rack on the 2008 Honda CR-V. You will instead need to go with the Thule 770 Honda CR-V specialty car rack system The Thule 770 roof rack installs onto the fixed attachment point (fixpoints) located on the 2008 Honda CR-V roof top. For some reason Yakima Racks has not jumped on design and enginnering for fixpoints, which are becoming increasingly common on many vehicles now manufactured. Thule Racks is the only car rack company designing for fixpoints currently.

The Thule 770 system includes four 770 Feet, four Fit Kit brackets (these Fit Kit brackets are specific to your vehicle and mount to the fixed attachment points located on your 2008 Honda CR-V rooftop) and two load bars (the bars are integrated to the 770 Feet for very rapid and easy installation).
